Apptis Wins Veterans Affairs Contract To Provide Air Force Medical Technology IT Services.

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Apptis, Inc. announced today that it won a $19 million contract with the Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) at Randolph AFB, San Antonio, Texas to provide information technology support services at four of the command's medical treatment facilities.

Under the four-year project with the AETC, Apptis through its NetCare program will provide IT enterprise support services for medical technology at Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC), Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas; Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.; Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Miss.; and Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Fla. The contract was awarded through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

"We look forward to helping the AETC develop a consistent command wide IT support program and to enhance the support of the enterprise-wide legacy and newly deployed applications and systems," said Gloria Kosman, General Manager of Apptis Healthcare.

In addition to the new contract, Apptis has worked with AETC on infrastructure upgrades and on-site support projects in the past at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Sheppard Air Force Base, Luke Air Force Base and Altus Air Force Base. Apptis already provides NetCare support at more than 65 military treatment facilities throughout the world.
