Deadline Nears for Those Taxpayers Who Received for Filing Extensions.

Aug. 14--It's crunch time again for East Valley taxpayers who received a four-month extension to file their federal and state income tax forms.

Friday is the deadline for 154,700 Arizonans who filed for an extension. Of that, 34,200 are expected to file for a second extension, which puts the deadline at Oct. 15, Internal Revenue Service spokeswoman Jean Carl said.
