Lockheed Martin, San Diego's Titan Merger Deal Deadline Pushed Back.

Mar. 13--In a sign that Lockheed Martin is still committed to its $1.8 billion buyout of San Diego's Titan Corp., the companies yesterday extended the deadline for completing the deal by three weeks.

Extending the deadline to April 20 gives both companies more time to evaluate 11th-hour allegations that Titan paid foreign bribes to win overseas business, analysts said yesterday.

The companies previously faced a March 31 deadline for completing the deal.
