Job training programs would get more federal help under a bipartisan Senate bill introduced this month to establish a grant program promoting partnerships among local workforce agencies, businesses and community colleges.

Introduced by Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) and Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.), the bill would help adults over age 24 attend college and would increase college loan amounts for low-income students.
