    Democratic Debate: Wednesday, March 1, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. PST
    Republican Debate: Thursday, March 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. PST
    Location:          Times Mirror Square in downtown Los Angeles

(Media entrance: 221 W. Second St.) NOTE: Members of the media will not be allowed in the auditorium where the debates will take place. Working journalists (no guests) needing press credentials for the on-site media center should fax the following information on company stationery to Blanca Vega at the Los Angeles Times at 213/237-5493 or 213/346-8451 as soon as possible (no later than noon on Tuesday, Feb. 29): -- Contact name and title -- Company -- Address -- Phone number -- Fax number -- E-mail address -- Name, Social Security number and date of birth for each working journalist -- Session(s) journalist will attend (Democrat, Republican, both) The contact person will be notified if there are questions regarding your request. For security purposes, on the day of the debate, individuals must pick up their own credentials and show a current press photo ID. Notes to Editors: -- Space in the media center is limited and is intended for working journalists only. -- Limited free media parking is available on a first-come basis at 220 S. Spring St. (Show your press ID to enter.) -- Limited parking for satellite trucks is available in an open parking lot on Second Street between Spring and Broadway on a first-come basis. -- Street-repair work around the Los Angeles Times could cause traffic delays -- please plan accordingly. -- The media center will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight on both days. TVs in the media center will carry the live CNN airing of the debates. -- A limited number of phone lines and modem lines are available in the media room on a first-come basis. -- Post-debate press conference with candidates TBD by candidates. -- The media center may be closed at certain times for security checks.
