Mar. 24--The high-tech industry, under fire for moving software jobs to India, China and other developing countries, is launching a counterattack.
In a report to be released today, the American Electronics Association says offshore outsourcing, as the practice is known, is responsible for only a small portion of recent job losses.
The nation's largest high-tech trade association says productivity gains and a weak global economy are responsible for far more job losses.
