Voter Support Rises for Bond Measure in California.

Feb. 24--SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- With one week to go until Election Day, voter support has surged for a $15 billion bond measure that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is touting as the cornerstone of his fiscal recovery plan.

A Field Poll released today shows that the Republican governor's campaign is paying off, with support for Proposition 57 growing 17 points in a month and hitting 50 percent for the first time. The numbers suggest that Schwarzenegger is poised to pull off
