ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 2004

Business and Technology Insider (BTI) radio will be broadcasting Women Impacting Public Policy's (WIPP) conference call with Senator John Kerry starting at 1:45pm ET. This is the second "Presidential Candidate

Conference Call Series" by Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) with 2004 presidential candidates. WIPP is expecting over 200 host sites in 40 states with 2,000 women expected to participate in the conference call nationwide. BTI Radio will start at 1:30pm ET with a pre-conference interview with Terry Neese, President of WIPP and Barbara Kasoff, COO.

Why are women entrepreneurs so important?

A bipartisan survey found:

-- Almost 90 percent of women entrepreneurs have voted in all or

most elections

-- 39% identified themselves as Independent or lean Independent,

compared to 30% Republican and 27% Democratic

-- 40% have either given money or volunteered for a political

campaign

-- 63% are more influenced by endorsements by a woman

entrepreneur than the chamber of commerce, unions or

environmental groups

Concluded Kasoff, COO of WIPP, "As the fastest growing business demographic, nearly twice as fast as other companies, and a voting rate nearly double the general population, women entrepreneurs will have a powerful impact on elections at every level - national, state and local."
