Why are women entrepreneurs so important?
A bipartisan survey found:
-- Almost 90 percent of women entrepreneurs have voted in all or
most elections
-- 39% identified themselves as Independent or lean Independent,
compared to 30% Republican and 27% Democratic
-- 40% have either given money or volunteered for a political
campaign
-- 63% are more influenced by endorsements by a woman
entrepreneur than the chamber of commerce, unions or
environmental groups
Concluded Kasoff, COO of WIPP, "As the fastest growing business demographic, nearly twice as fast as other companies, and a voting rate nearly double the general population, women entrepreneurs will have a powerful impact on elections at every level - national, state and local."
