Jan. 14--NEW YORK -- Democratic presidential candidate Richard A. Gephardt, who supported the war in Iraq, said yesterday he had personally urged President Bush to give international inspectors enough time to search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. But Bush, Gephardt said, ignored his pleas.
