web site
a file or related group of files available on the World Wide Web
web site
location (or address) on the World Wide Web . A web site may contain any number of web pages. The home page is the first document that the user sees when entering the web site, and it may be followed by additional documents and files, each with their own unique URL.
web site
a virtual location managed by a single entity that provides information such as text, graphics, and audio files to users, as well as connections (hypertext links, hyperlinks, links) to other Web sites. Every Web site has a home page , the initial document seen by users, which acts as a table of contents to other offerings available at the site.
