Business Definition for: real property

real property

rights, interests, and benefits inherent in the ownership of real estate, as distinguished from personal property; frequently thought of as a bundle of rights. Real estate may be loosely defined as land (including air rights) and other properties that are permanently attached to land such as houses, fences, and landscaping. The terms real property and real estate are often used interchangeably.

land and all property attached to the land, such as houses, trees, fences, and all improvements.

real property

land, buildings, and other kinds of fixed or immovable property. This is classified as real, as distinguished from personal property. In some states, it is synonymous with real estate.
