Business Definition for: parcel
parcel
- piece of property under one ownership; lot in a subdivision .
- package sent through a common carrier.
- to distribute or separate into parts, as in "to parcel out."
parcel
a piece of property under one ownership; a lot in a subdivision .
Example: In order to construct the highway, the state must acquire parts of parcels A and C in Figure 136. Parcels B and D are unaffected.
