File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
protocol associated with the transfer of information on the Internet between client computers and file servers. Files may be transferred, downloaded, and uploaded individually or in batch form.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
an Internet protocol that permits transferring files between computers via the Internet.
