Business Definition for: Consolidated Quotation System (CQS)

Consolidated Quotation System (CQS)

electronic service providing quotations on issues traded on the New York Stock Exchange , the American Stock Exchange , regional stock exchanges, and issues traded by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) in the third market . NASDAQ reprocesses the information and provides it to subscribers to its Composite Quotation System, also known by the initials CQS.
