clone

  1. a computer that is an exact imitation of another (e.g., a clone of the IBMPC), or a software product that exactly imitates another. In biology, a clone is an organism that has exactly the same genetic material as another, such as a plant grown from a cutting.
  2. in object-oriented programming , to duplicate an object.

Business:exact or nearly exact duplicate of some object, such as a typewriter or microcomputer.
