American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
institution that issues official standards in almost all industries.
American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
nonprofit organization that sponsors industry standards for information management and data communication. The American Bankers Association (ABA) oversees the ANSI financial industry standards committee (ANSI X9).
