American Business Conference (ABC)

organization representing the combination (in 2002) of the former American Business Conference (ABC), the nation's leading association of midsize businesses, and the Association of Publicly Traded Companies (APTC), the leading lobby for mid cap and small cap public companies. Both organizations were formed in the early 1980s and function as bipartisan advocates of policies to promote economic growth, tax reform, open international trade and investment, regulatory and securities litigation reform, and better corporate governance, proxy process, and accounting and capital markets standards.
