agreement corporation
state chartered corporation engaged in international banking. These banking offices agree to limit their activities, under Federal Reserve Board regulations, to those permitted edge act corporation s, but have more liberal capital guidelines. Agreement corporations are chartered to conduct international operations through domestic offices, thereby allowing local firms access to international markets through local banks.
