adjudication
settlement of opposing arguments by notice and trial in a court of law; also a court's ruling, such as adjudication of bankruptcy. Contrast with arbitration .
adjudication
determination of a controversy and pronouncement of judgment.
adjudication
court decision.
Example: The court's adjudication of the condemnation whether by jury or bench trial, resulted in the condemnor paying $100,000 to the condemnee .
