CMT USA Inc. introduces a new line of solid carbide spiral bits that feature a newly developed super-microgram carbide formula created to produce a sharp and long-lasting cutting edge, the company says. The new bits have a low angle helix design that provides maximum efficiency in chip ejection and allows higher feed rates without breakage. This design also allows the tooling to run cooler and maintain a sharp cutting edge longer. The new spirals are available in upcut, downcut, compression and chipbreaker roughing designs in various sizes.
