At these fully licensed child-care facilities, children aged 6 months to 6 years enjoy educational programs tailored to their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs. Goddard encourages children to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment, with enrichment programs such as yoga, science, music, and sign language. A small-group atmosphere promotes individual attention from staff, who are trained in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and receive ongoing education from the franchisor’s Goddard Systems University. In addition to infant, toddler, preschool and kindergarten programs, Goddard provides before- and after-school and summer day-care programs. Opened in 1986, Goddard began franchising in 1988 and changed its name from Goddard Early Learning Centers in 1993.
