CiCi Enterprises operates and franchises more than 600 CiCi's Pizza restaurants in more than 29 states that offer several types of pizza along with salad, desserts, and pasta at an all-you-can-eat price. The restaurants are found mainly in midsized cities; many are located in shopping malls. About 15 locations are company-owned, while the rest are franchised. CiCi Enterprises supplies its franchisees through its JMC Restaurant Distribution unit. Joe Croce opened the first CiCi's in Plano, Texas, in 1985. A management group led by president Craig Moore controls the company; private equity firm Onacap LP also backs the company.
