Subway to expand in Germany. (Global Report on Europe).(Brief Article)

Germany -- As part of expansion efforts, the Subway restaurant chain announced in August that it has plans to open 20 new locations and is actively seeking area development agents and individual franchisees to open new restaurants throughout Germany.

Nine restaurant openings throughout Germany since the beginning of the year, and the recent appointment of Torsten Rothamel as the eighth German development agent, are indicative of the chain's international growth initiatives.
