IRVINE, Calif. -- Award-Winning Eatery Features More Than 100 Menu Items Plus 130 Taps of Beer, Daily Late-Night Dining and the Sounds of Classic Rock

Once again people are getting their kicks along Route 66 with the opening of Yard House, the award-winning restaurant which makes its Inland Empire debut today at the new Victoria Gardens shopping and entertainment complex in Rancho Cucamonga. The restaurant, located off Interstate 15 at Foothill Boulevard about 60 miles east of Los Angeles and known for its eclectic American Fusion menu, world's largest selection of draft beer, and sounds of classic rock, is open daily from 11:30am with late-night dining available until 11:30pm on weekdays, 12:30am on weekends.

Yard House, which takes its name from an early Colonial tradition of serving 36-inch tall glasses of beer - or yards - to weary stagecoach drivers, spans 9,200 square-feet and offers indoor and outdoor seating for up to 362 guests. The Victoria Gardens location will follow the company's successful model with a signature oval bar lined with a fleet of 130 tap handles, walls graced with original and bold artwork, and an expansive music library featuring classic rock played continuously on the state-of-the-art sound system. A collection of video monitors is also strategically placed throughout the restaurant so guests can enjoy televised sporting events and other programs of interest. The glass-enclosed Keg Room, the pulse of the operation, is where the beer is efficiently transported via an intricate network of steel tubing to the oval island bar, where glass yards dangle from above.

Under the toque is Executive Chef and Partner Carlito Jocson, who was nominated Chef of the Year by the California Restaurant Writers Association and is ranked among the Great Chefs of Orange County. Chef Jocson, who is recognized among the Top 1000 Chefs in America, infuses traditional American favorites with Asian flavors and seasonings. Classic dishes, such as the Caesar salad, is updated with seared ahi, while enchiladas and California rolls are creatively stacked. Individual pizzas, pasta, steak, rice dishes and fresh seafood are also prominent on the menu. In addition, the restaurant offers an extensive children's menu, guaranteed late-night dining and Martinis & Beer, offered Monday-Friday 3-6pm, with half-price appetizers, martinis for $4.25, well drinks for $3.25 and all pints just $2.75.
