Cheers Benchmark Awards call for entries.(CURRENTS)

Attention barkeeps, bar and restaurant owners: Nominations and entries are now being accepted for the first Cheers Benchmark Awards (Beverage Excellence for Non-Chain Hospitality Establishments). Created to recognize outstanding independent beverage-centric operations focusing on wine, beer and spirits, the Cheers Benchmark Awards will be presented at the New York Bar Show in June 2007 and winners will be featured in Cheers Magazine.

Operators may enter their own establishments or a third party may nominate. To qualify for consideration, establishments must have a prim
