One Simple Idea
I’ve written a book! This is the first time I’ve publicly announced the creation of “One Simple Idea.” It’s been a long, challenging process, but I couldn’t be more excited to see it in print. If all goes well, a copy will arrive in your nearest bookstore at the end of March.
I’ve written a book! This is the first time I’ve publicly announced the creation of “One Simple Idea.” It’s been a long, challenging process, but I couldn’t be more excited to see it in print. If all goes well, a copy will arrive in your nearest bookstore at the end of March. “One Simple Idea” describes how to rent your ideas to Fortune 500 companies – even more specifically, how to rent simple ideas to some of the biggest companies in the world. For the past thirty years, I’ve made a career out of doing just that. I’ve licensed numerous ideas to a diverse range of companies, including products in the toy industry, packaging industry, beverage industry, back-to-school industry, and novelty gifts industry. And now I want to share my knowledge and experience with everyone else!
I love this business and want to recommend it to as many people as possible for a number of reasons. Licensing is so great because it doesn’t demand that you start a business – there’s no need to hire and pay employees or to raise capital, for example. Licensing means having an established company take your idea and bring it to market for you. And when your product sells, you’re going to be paid – regardless of where you are or what you’re doing at the time. That’s an incredible amount of freedom. I’ve been paid while I’m on vacation. I’ve made money while I’m sleeping. The benefits include getting to live wherever and working when you want to.
Licensing is the best option to bringing your product to market because it’s the timeliest. Today, speed to market is so important. The lifecycle of products is incredibly short – products need to reach the market as soon as possible before they become obsolete!
And one of the most important messages I hope to impart in “One Simple Idea” is that anyone is capable of profiting from renting their ideas. What do you need to do this? A cell-phone, a computer, knowledge, and hard work. You certainly don’t need to consider yourself an inventor or product developer. And you don’t need a lot of money.
I hope you’re as excited about the book as I am. I have one last pitch to offer you. In an attempt to generate a lot of buzz about “One Simple Idea”, we’ve created an exciting offer. If you decide to pre-order the book now, you’ll gain access to a directory of over 1000 companies that are looking for outside ideas. Help me sell this book and pre-order now! I want to let retailers across the US know that this is a book they need to stock.
