NATIONAL CITY CORPORATION, CLEVELAND, Ohio, announced an agreement to purchase the National City Center, home to the corporation's headquarters in downtown Cleveland, from an affiliate of Prime Group Realty Trust of Chicago. National City will terminate its current lease as part of this agreement.

The 35-story building is located at 1900 E. Ninth St., and comprises 767,000 square feet. The purchase also includes the 625-space parking garage and the four-story annex. National City has been a tenant for 24 years. Other National City Center occupants include Nick & Tony's Tavern & Grill and the law firms of Baker & Hosteller and Spangenberg, Shibley & Liber, which National City will retain as tenants of the building.
