Kimball Office

For people who need or want an extended seat height, the Wish seating family, from Kimball Office, now offers an ergonomic stool. It features the same performance characteristics—wishbone back frame, neoprene diaphragm, long-term comfort, and easy-to-use adjustments—used in the original Wish

task chair design. And like the original, the stool is GREENGUARD certified and more than 90 percent recyclable.

The new stool's ergonomic features include: pneumatic seat-height adjustment within a 4-in. range to accommodate intermediate- and counter-height worksurfaces; a foot ring that is infinitely adjustable within a 3.5-in. range, 10.5-in. to 14-in. from the floor; synchronized-tilt mechanism which permits the chair seat and back to articulate proportionately, accommodating posture changes throughout the day and reducing tension in back muscles; 6-zone side tensioning allowing sitters of different sizes and weights to be comfortably supported while reclining; multi-position back lock with anti-kickback feature that lets sitters secure the chair in the position that best suits the task at hand; lumbar support; and, a neoprene diaphragm that contributes elasticity for resilient back support and permits air circulation.

Available in armless and height-adjustable with fixed arm caps, the stool is offered in all Kimball Office fabrics and leathers, as well as COM. The wishbone upright is available in black or platinum metallic.
