Carolyn and Jay Haverson, partners in the firm, announce the following promotions and staff additions:
David Graham Moore, R.A., was promoted to Partner-Director of Design for Haverson Architecture and Design. Since joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Moore has been involved in the conceptual phases of every project handled by the firm including residential projects in Greenwich, work for Smith & Wollensky in Dallas, Houston, and Boston, and Zanaro's Italian White Plains. In previous positions, as a Senior Associate of The Phillips Group and as Senior Designer of the Rockwell Group Design Team, Mr. Moore was responsible for shaping and maintaining the design philosophy of the firms. David Moore received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and resides in Larchmont, New York.
Andrew J. Simpson, R.A., has also joined Haverson Architecture and Design as a Construction Manager for residential and commercial projects to direct the firm's real estate development projects. Before joining the firm, Mr. Simpson was a project manager at AD Winston Corporation in Long Island City, New York managing general construction work. Simpson received his degree in architecture from Syracuse University and lives in Chappaqua, New York.
Julie Garman, Lead Interior Designer, has also joined Haverson Architecture and Design. Previously, she was an interior designer with HDTV's Design Host, Chris Casson Madden, where she worked with clients on residential interiors in Bermuda, Fishers Island, Greenwich, New York City and Palm Beach, Florida, as well as, assisted with several publications. Ms. Garman received a Bachelor of Science degree in textile Design from North Carolina State University and a degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.
