Production Of Woodstalk Fiberboard At Record Levels

Production of Woodstalk fiberboard, manufactured by Dow BioProducts Ltd., is at record levels, driven by strengthening demand for environmentally responsible products, company Director of Marketing and Logistics, Martin Lehman said at NeoCon East's GreenLife exhibit.

Woodstalk is made from annually renewable waste wheat straw fiber, usually burned after harvest, that is otherwise unsuitable for human or animal consumption.

Woodstalk has become an industry-leading, award-winning, non-wood, engineered composite fiberboard product that performs as well or better than competing wood products, such as particleboard and medium density fiberboard (MDF).
