The National Fire Protection Association has presented Donald W. Belles, P.E., FSFPE, of Greenbrier, TN, with the Standards Medal. The Standards Medal is the highest award bestowed by the Standards Council and is given for outstanding contributions to fire safety in the development of codes
NFPA has also presented Irving Mande, P.E., of Westport, CT, with the Distinguished Service Award. The award recognizes outstanding accomplishments of individuals rendering service to the Association and cause of fire safety.
