Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) today announced that they will provide environmental remediation services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District.
The five-year contract includes
Under the Total Environmental Restoration Contract (TERC), Jacobs will provide comprehensive environmental remediation services at the New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site as well as various other sites within the geographic boundaries of the North Atlantic Division and its assigned mission areas.
Jacobs has provided a broad range of engineering and design services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers since the 1940s.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Jim Thiesing stated, "We are pleased to continue our long-standing and successful relationship with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. We are committed to supporting the cost-effective remediation of New Bedford Harbor to maximize funding available for other sites throughout the North Atlantic Division."
