I view the Language of Spirituality Conferences held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, each year as some of the most important discussions going on in the Western world. The conferences bring together Native Americans, academicians, and scientists, both Western and Native American, to discuss, in the most free and open way, the nature of the universe. Through these discussions, it occurs to me that Western science, particularly physics, is actually based on the one sacred language of the West: mathematics.
