Finalists were selected Thursday, July 26, at the Horseshoe Riverdome to compete in the upcoming STATE FINALS of the MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC PAGEANT.

Euless, Texas, Sheri Harrison of Shreveport, La., Tonjua Swann of Big Sandy, Texas and Anna Yuschak of Lewisville, Texas will represent Horseshoe Casino & Hotel and compete against winners from other preliminary pageants across the state in the MISS HAWAIIAN TROPIC STATE FINALS to be held at the Horseshoe Riverdome on Saturday, August 25th at 5:00 p.m.

Audiences are in-store for a thrilling evening of beauty, pageantry, live music and fun, as contestants compete in sportswear and swimsuits. The grand prize is an ALL EXPENSE PAID TRIP TO LAS VEGAS for the National pageant, $2,500 IN CASH AND OTHER EXCITING PRIZES. The fabulous ROB HANNA will provide musical entertainment for the evening as he presents a "Salute to Rod Stewart," his highly acclaimed, musical impersonation of the award-winning artist.

The contestants who will represent Horseshoe were selected at the pageant last night in the Riverdome. Jamie Mitchell, a stunning twenty-three year old woman from Shreveport, La., was the winner and walked away with more than $5,000 IN CASH AND PRIZES. The 5'3" blonde beauty is a former NSU Demon Cheerleader.

Krystal Womble of Euless, Texas, finished the night as First Runner Up and won $500. Krystal, twenty-five year old, 5'7" blonde, is a massage therapist. Sheri Harrison of Shreveport was named Second Runner Up and won $250. Sheri, twenty-four year old, 5'1" brunette, is a spokesperson for G&G Distributing.

All three winners won other exciting prizes and will compete in the STATE FINALS, along with Tonya Swann (3rd Runner Up) and Anna Yuschak (4th Runner Up). Admission for the Miss Hawaiian Tropic State Finals will be $15 or just $10 with your Free Winners Circle(R) Card. Must be 21 years or older.
