For all of you lovers of National Public Radio's This American Life — and even for those who aren't yet fans or just plain aren't — I've found something I think many of you may like.
Ira Glass, host of the popular program, has made a video documenting his own creative processes.
He knows about turning the creative process into a polished, finished product and, despite his success (or because of it?) he also has work of which he is NOT proud.
This video, part of an interview series on story telling, offers great advice on completing and working through those failed attempts, faulty launches, and flat-out flops. Furthermore, Glass pulls out some honest to god bad examples from his own portfolio. You can find the rest of Glass's interview at YouTube user kentj1's channel.
