LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 1996--CBS has entered into an agreement with Executive Publications to launch CBS Magazine, a complimentary publication for the many thousands of visitors who watch television shows being taped at CBS Television City each year.

Marriott adds, "We're extremely pleased to be publishing CBS Magazine as a valuable source of information for this select group, since Los Angeles has long been known for its cosmopolitan tastes." The 72-page, high-gloss full-color publication's premier issue is August 9, with 70,000 copies being distributed.
CBS Television City has over 9,000 visitors each month, consisting of families and individuals, watching any one or several of the 11 to 16 shows being taped there each week. Every day, each guest will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine.
CBS operates more film and television studios than any other network or studio in Los Angeles. Television City, which was built in 1954, has been home to a wide variety of programs, from "The Carol Burnett Show" and "The Price Is Right" to "Circus of the Stars," "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold And The Beautiful."
CBS Magazine will also include the new CBS fall line-up for the 1996-97 television season.
Executive Publications is a division of the Marriott Publishing family, founding publishers of upscale magazines throughout the nation during the past 50 years. These include Executive Magazine, New Worlds of Irvine, Westchester News New York, Daily Commercial News of San Francisco and full-color Sunday supplements, such as Family Weekly magazine (now U.S.A. This magazine will incorporate CBS and Marriott Publishing's combined efforts and experience.
