Television: "Shushybye Baby," the creation of Encino-based advertising executive Steve Syatt, made its debut on Canadian television in late July.
"Shushybye Baby" is broadcast on BabyFirst TV, a cable channel with programming for babies and toddlers. BabyFirstTV premiered in Canada the week of July 25.
The half hour show premiered in the U.S. in May.
"Shushybye Baby" features characters called Shushies, magical creatures living in Nap Valley and Snore Shores who create children's dreams.
The Shushybye characters have appeared in a live stage show, radio program, on DVD and CD. Syatt writes the music and lyrics for all songs.
"Everybody has been commenting on the music," Syatt said. "That has been the secret weapon."
