NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2001
The Wall Street Transcript has published an in-depth interview with Quentin Kelly, CEO of WorldWater (OTC BB:WWAT),
The entire 3,100-word interview is available free online at http://www.twst.com/ceos.htm
Kelly gives an overview of the company. "WorldWater is a company whose mission and thrust is supplying water and power to developing countries through the use of proprietary solar energy systems. We have developed powerful solar-driven water pumps that can pump 10 times the volume of any other solar water pumps in the world."
Kelly reports, "We've just completed a two year program with Rutgers during which we grew great vegetables utilizing solar drip irrigation. Drip irrigation is going to have to be employed much more extensively around the world than it is now because it's so much more efficient than normal flooding of furrows, 5 to 10 times more volume-efficient."
Looking forward, Kelly states, "Water delivery, powered by our solar systems. Again, we can go anywhere there's sunshine and deliver water and power. The market is huge and the opportunities are seemingly endless. More than a billion people don't have access to usable clean water, and for the first time governments are now actually trying to do something about it. That's where WorldWater comes in. We can fill the void where others can't -- and make a nice profit on it."
