Aquarion Water in Connecticut Asks 14 Percent Rate Increase.

Feb. 28--BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Aquarion Water Co. of Connecticut wants to raise its rates.
The company has filed a letter of intent with the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control. Its application, to be filed in the next 30 to 60 days, will ask for a $16.1 million, or 13.95 percent, revenue increase.
