Ohio Utility Vectren Energy to Seek Rate Increase.

Apr. 17--DAYTON, Ohio -- Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio, the Vectren Corp. subsidiary that supplies natural gas in the Dayton area, filed notice Friday with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio for a $25 million rate increase.

Vectren said the request, the first in 12 years, is for operating, maintaining and expanding the 5,200-mile distribution system that serves more than 310,000 customers.
