Israel's Leviev Group has increased its cooperation with Russian diamond mining monopoly Alrosa, with both firms increasing their investment in Angola's largest diamond mine, Catoka, reported the Israeli business daily Globes, which cited Alrosa CEO Alexander Nichiporuk. Nichiporuk was quoted as saying that production at Catoka is to be increased from $170 million a year to $300-350 million.
