Mar. 11--CARMEL, Ind. -- Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, the nonprofit that monitors the Midwestern energy grid, said Wednesday it will add more than 300 jobs over five years, paying an average of $85,000 to $90,000 a year.
The jobs, attracted in part by $7 million in state and local incentives, are the kinds of high-skill positions political and business leaders crave.
