NJ chemical firms sign electrical contract. (Markets).(with Reliant Energy Solutions)(Brief...

WITH ELECTRICITY deregulation scheduled to begin August 1 in New Jersey, chemical manufacturers, distributors and related companies in that state have signed a $70 million supply contract with Reliant Energy Solutions.

More than 40 members of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey, a trade association that represents chemical manufacturers, distributors, pharmaceutical companies and other companies in the business of chemistry, agreed to the Reliant pact late last month.
