Self-Powered Chemical, Bio Protective Shelter.

Solectria Corp. (9 Forbes Rd., Woburn, MA 01801; Tel: 781/932-9009, Fax: 781/932-9219; Email: sales@solectria.com, Website: www.solectria.com) has received a contract from the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Center (Natick, MA) to fabricate two next-generation Self -Powered Environmental Support Systems (SP-ESS). The SP-ESS will be integrated with the Chemical and Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS) and will supply approximately 20 kW of power to support heating, cooling, NBC filtration/pressurization, air beam inflation, and power generation requirements of the shelter system.
