The First Louisiana Energy Conference will be held in New Orleans at Le Meridien Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, December 5th and 6th, 2001.

This energy investment conference will highlight

three exploration and production companies: Denbury Resources Inc. (NYSE:DNR); Energy Partners, Ltd. (NYSE:EPL); and PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:PQUE) as well as five oil field service companies: Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. (NASDAQ:GIFI); OSCA, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSCA); Superior Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE:SPN); Tidewater, Inc. (NYSE:TDW); and Torch Offshore, Inc. (NASDAQ:TORC). All of these companies focus on the Gulf of Mexico as their primary market. The Conference is being independently sponsored by the participating companies and will include detailed investor-oriented presentations by senior management of each company over the two-day period.
