Dean C. Maschoff Joins Navigant Consulting as Managing Director in Energy Practice.

Navigant Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: NCI) announced today that Dean C. Maschoff has joined the Company's Chicago office as Managing Director of the Financial Advisory Group in the Energy Practice. In this new

position, Maschoff will use his extensive expertise in corporate and business strategy, capital allocation and management, portfolio analysis, shareholder value analysis and strategic risk management to assist electric and gas utility clients in making strategic choices to create high business value.

Maschoff joins Navigant Consulting with more than 25 years of in-depth management consulting experience in the electric and gas utilities industries. Most recently, he managed his own consulting firm, Maschoff, Craig & Rubin LLC, based in Northbrook, Illinois. Maschoff was previously a Senior Vice President with the Chemical and Energy Group of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where he led the Strategic Services Practice. Prior to his work at CSC, he was a Senior Vice President with Planmetrics, a utility consulting firm.
