BRIGHTON, MI and MONTREAL, QC, Sept. 22 - McKenzie Bay International, Ltd. (MKBY:OTC.PK) reports that its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, DERMOND INC. "DERMOND", received a loan guarantee of CDN$125,000 from Investissement Quebec to finance Scientific Research and Experimental Development Investment Tax Credits.

Dermond has designed an improved Darrieus-type Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) for high efficiency and performance in electricity generation and is preparing to erect three 100 kW VAWTs to demonstrate its wind turbine capabilities in targeted markets.
