FirstEnergy's Nuclear Reactor in Ohio Restarts after Valve Repairs.

Mar. 30--FirstEnergy Corp's Davis-Besse nuclear power plant is making electricity again, and could reach full power by Wednesday or Thursday, the company said.

The nuclear plant, in Oak Harbor about 25 miles east of Toledo, was started up for the first time in more than two years on March 16, then had to shut down the next day for relatively minor valve repairs.

Those repairs were finished last week and the reactor restarted shortly afterward, FirstEnergy spokesm
