Methanex Buys Saturn; Second Plant Under Review.

Methanex has agreed to acquire Saturn Methanol (Houston) for $28 million. The deal would give Methanex marketing rights to the 860,000-m.t./year Titan Methanol plant at Point Lisas, Trinidad and a 10% stake in the facility, which Saturn co-owns with the Beacon Group (New York) and BP Amoco.
