Aug. 6--BUSH COULD RELEASE 4 MILLION BPD: US President George Bush has a strategic petroleum reserve that he could release in the event of a US attack on Iraq, reported Reuters. US energy secretary Spencer Abraham said the reserve could release 4 million bpd, half the country's requirements. The US has recently been filling up its tanks, he added, claiming that this was unrelated to the Iraqi issue.
